Contest Update

Well, I thought that I would update you on the school district Biggest Loser contest. Last month, we picked teams with 5 people on each team. We had to keep track of what we ate, drank, exercise and sleep. We got points for each veggie and fruit, no treats, 6 hrs. of sleep per night, exercise, etc. Our team took second in the school and 4th in the whole district. The team that won had our P.E. teacher and Coach and he was leading their group with points. Anyway, congrats to them and I am a winner anyway because I have really stopped eating treats. I do however, crave salty things every once in a while.

The newest contest started April 1st and will go until May 10th. We have to exercise for at least 4 days a week for 30 minutes. My first week I got in 205 minutes. The second week was 255 minutes. Week 3 was 488 minutes. So far this week, 318 minutes. I am really enjoying doing it. I have to get up in the morning about 4:45 and then I can do it before the kids leave for school. If I wait and do it later in the morning, it seems like I get distracted and start doing other things and then I have a late start on the whole day. I will keep you all posted on my progress. Keep a good thought for me!

YIPPEE!!!!

I have some great news! I have lost 12 pounds since I start with the Biggest Loser competition with the school district. However, it took me 5 weeks to lose 6 pounds of that. The matching 6 pounds has been in the last 10 days. Why? Well, let me tell you. Jeff has always supported me in anything or any business that I have wanted to try and never complained and was always very supportive. Well, I had sworn off of MLM's just because I have done so many, but Jeff was really excited about this one. But the draw to him is the product itself.
It is called eXfuze Seven+. It is made up of 7 of the best "super food" efficacious botanical fruits out there plus others that are known for their values. I started taking it on 4/5/09 and since then I have lost the other 6 pounds. Now, this does not have stimulants and is all natural. I am still eating carefully and exercising a bit more, but I am stoked! We are all using it because it is full of vitamins. I will support Jeff on this one! If you want to know more, you know how to find me. Leave a comment or email me at lisastorey1@comcast.net. They have meetings every Thursday night at John Watson Chevrolet on Wall Avenue in Ogden starting at 6:30 and dinner is served, catered by Good Wood BBQ. If you want to attend, and everyone is invited, let me know by the Wednesday before the meeting so that we have plenty of yummy eats for everyone!

Easter

We went to St. George for the Spring Break with Hunter and Katelyn and the weather was so-so but it was fun to get away and visit with Jeff's parents. They are always so happy to see us come, and probably to see us go! Megan and Jared brought the kids over so we could see them. I didn't do candy but I got Preston some shorts and for Mikelle, the green shoes that she is wearing. They matched her dress perfectly and I had never seen it. She had a sweet little white sweater also. They are getting so big!
Mikelle loves string cheese but not being held in one place. She is constantly on the move!
Preston wouldn't look at me so I had to take his picture while he was eating yogurt.
This sweet, little wisp of a girl is going to scare her parents, and us, to death. Luckily you can't see it, but she hurt the bridge of her nose and it was beginning to bruise. (She just got back from the dentist today 4/15, as he had to smooth her tooth because she chipped it.) She is a climber and Megan thinks that she will beat out Preston for the first broken bone.

Hunter was asked to MORP (PROM backwards) by a cute young lady that wrote a ton of different girls names all over a t-shirt in many colors. He had to wash the t-shirt and the only name that remained was the name of the girl asking him. He replied by filling a jar full of Skittles along with this poem. I forgot to get a picture of the jar and it was wrapped up really cute and of course, there were more green Skittles than red.
HIS REPLY:
Will I go to MORP with you?

You used all the colors of the rainbow on….
The T-shirt that you gave to me,
And now it is your turn to look at colors
To see just what my answer will be.
You have to count the colors
Then you will soon be in the “know”!
Just what my answer will be to you,
And if I want to go!
Red means NO WAY and green means YOU BET!
So count them out and please don’t fret.
Whichever there is more of, either red or green,
Is your answer and if together we will be seen.

HUNTER
P.S. Don’t let anyone eat any before you are done counting!
