We are now DONE painting the kitchen! Katelyn is checking out out row of paints. Jeff is just finishing painting the shelf and it was a pain! Now, I get to start making pretzels, toffee and caramels again! YUM!
The only thing left to paint was the door that Jeff made to cover the breaker box. He made a frame and had a mirror cut to go in it. He will hang it up tomorrow. (that's what is on the table)
Cutting in took forever with all of the new moldings and those that have painted bead board before know what a pain in the behind it is and it takes a long time!
At the primer stage with the moldings painted. Check out the beautiful sunset out the window! We worked on this all weekend and Tuesday. I had a break on Monday from painting due to other activities.
When we first put on the new red, it kind of made us nervous. It seemed so orange and the old paint almost looked purplish. But it looks great all finished.
I will take one last picture when the table gets back in and I have decorated for Christmas.
