Last Saturday, Jeff and I met Pat and Deneice at mom and dad's house so that the guys could change out the toilet in their bathroom. (For those of you who are not related, this may be boring. Sorry!) We were expecting the first snow storm of the season, a bit to early, so we wanted to get going. When we walked out our back door, these deer were in the neighbors yard. As Jeff put it, they were being very daring and they didn't seem scared at all.
We stopped at Maverick and looked back towards the mountains. The storm was moving in fast. It was COLD! And yes, we got snow!
The guys had ripped out the carpet and prepared the floor and we were waiting for the glue to set up. Mom was having a tough day. She had a tooth removed earlier in the week and was scared to try in her appliance. It looked like it was healing really well, but she was still tender and it scared her to put it in.
Dad taking a rest while waiting. He was the "gopher" this time. The boys just would tell him what they needed and he would get it. His garage is just a smaller version of Smith & Edwards. He has just about everything you could ever need. The trick is finding it.
They took out the carpet, put some tile flooring down and set a new toilet for them. It will now be a bit higher and easier for both of them. Di did a great job picking out the tiles.
Pat & Deneice changed out all of their toilets a couple of years ago so Pat is very good and fast at doing it.
Dad gave his approval for the new accommodations.We love you mom and dad!

The floor looks great, I'm sure Grandma and Grandpa will love having it...and the new pot. :)
Looks like ya'll had fun putting in a new toilet! Miss you all. Hope you had a great birthday last week also!! :)
